Got a scar from a pimple , how do i get rid of it?

I had a pimple on my forehead and well basically whats happened now is the pimples gone but that place has become darker in appearance. Theres a circular patch of skin thats just darker and looks like a dot. Its not dry skin or anything but its just darker. Im guessing its a pimple scar so how do i get rid of it quickly?

Drink alot of water, use hot water presses against it, toothpaste over night, mix baking soda and water to make a paste and put that over night..
